Zephyr CG (Zephyr Christakos-Gee) is a Toronto-born artist currently based in Montreal. His practice explores an expanding universe of symbols that draw from hieroglyphics, typography and mark-making. He applies signature patterns via airbrush to a plethora of found objects including home goods, textiles and clothing. Zephyr’s work embodies a nostalgia for the past, while simultaneously building a new enigmatic world of its own.
